Featuring 100% sustainable seafood in its stores is something that Ahold USA prides themselves on. To communicate why this is so important, Ahold USA charged Viscul Creative with creating a series of external facing videos to address the multiple elements of sustainability for two of their seafood vendors as well as develop an internal training video for seafood department associates.
Sustainability to the environment and the species is an important educational element in today’s eco-conscious society. But, it goes beyond that for many of these small coastal communities. It is also the economic sustainability of their communities as well as the health of the Ahold customer. Viscul Creative took the time to get to know the fishing communities beyond just the story of how they cultivate Atlantic salmon, oysters, and clams in their natural environments via aquaculture, looking at the heritage of farming seafood and its impact on the community.
